Life back as normal.

So Christmas is over and so to is 2008.

Christmas as usual was a hectic one with family coming to visit, buying presents everyone trying to be jolly and the occasional laugh at children that still believe in the Jolly man.

The worst part of Christmas apart from trifle is seeing family that you hardly know. They come round just because it Christmas and even though they wouldn't bother any other time of the year even your birthday to make an effort to see you, but in some sort of unwritten tradition you end up seeing everyone at Christmas.

Even that second cousin twice removed that you want a piece of and have yet to realise that there's no blood there Joe go for it!

The best part of Christmas obviously has to be the gifts! What else is Christmas for? I am not religious so DON'T even start. We should just call it Saint Nick day because even though i am not religious i find it bewildering the amount of children that do not know what Christmas is really about. Stupid degenerates.

Anyway enough about that, Christ-mass is over lets get back to normal.

Yes another year has flown by. Was not a bad year all n' all, many highs (Like the release of LocoRoco 2 :) ) and many lows (Damn you Rick Astle).

But it is now time to forget about 2008 and move on to the glorious year that is now 2009. Although ive always hated the number 9 no idea why just have.

2009 began in a wonderful way like all new years do. Drunk, very drunk with then too the rest of new years day a headache and laying in bed wondering why you every bother drinking when it hurts. Also when you reach for your wallet in the morning to buy paracetamol for your head you realise you have no money and think where the hell did my months wages go!

But all is good.

I bet your thinking RaRaLoco you charsmatic fool when are you going to say anything even remotely envolving games!? Well my friend 2009 got me thinking alot about video games and what the next year holds for future releases. Could 2009 at all hold a candle to its big brother 2008 that had such a massive aray of good releases that had not been this good since 1996.

2008 saw releases such as:

Loco Roco 2
Metal gear solid4: Guns of the patriots
Little big planet
Castle Crashers
Braid
Gears of war 2
Resistance 2
Fallout 3

Just to name a few.

So can 2009 maybe produce some fantastic games as well. Well with titles like Resi 5 and Street Fighter 4 were on the right track. But i am not going to talk about any of this until half way through the year as considring we are no where near anything happening yet.

But at Christmas i was generously given Rockband as a gift so here to was another game to my collection and many hours of practise just to get as good as everyone else. This involved cramp, aching ribs and feet, blisters and lots of them but all worth it beacuse by the way i can play all drum songs on expert now bitches. But anyway not the point.

My mother asked why i still played games even though i am now eighteen years old. My mother thought i was too old to play games now and thought it was childish. So we argued and eventually a sensible question popped into my head.

With many generations now growing up with gaming will it not be a suprise to see average gaming ages growing, with maybe in 50 years time it wont be a suprise to see somebodys grandad playing Bioshock and Grand theft auto and nobody thinking anything of it.

My mum and fathers generation grew up really with out games (poor sods) and gaming was only a baby back then so they both do not really appricate or understand the video game industry and just think its something for children.
But where as now we well know that the gaming industry is a massive force and really is a hugh part of society.
Every child now plays video games except the really gay retarded ones that don't.

This shows that many generations of children are growing up with video games and are continually playing as they grow and falling in love with what the industry has to over. I can imagine myself at 80 still playing Metal gear solid 47: Oh no Snakes in trouble again and not thinking that i was childish and i believe many of you would agree. Well considring games now are getting more violent and realistic, childishness and gaming only being for kids kinda is falling out the window.

So i believe that as children grow with gaming i think that there will be no more silly questions like my mother asked, gaming will be just like watching a movie, everybody does it even grandad.

Lets hope for a good year.

Did he just say, what i think he said?

How interesting.
So this is blogging? I can write about what ever the hell i want? How my day was, how my life is, what i do for a living and maybe even my deepest and most darkest secret......

Well who cares and who ever would want to know is very disturbed so just
forget all about that.

I decided to do this because i write about a well known taboo called video games and a friend of mine suggested that blogging is a great form of getting a message across. I always have written about games and always will and have now decided for this to be another form of getting my opinion across to you, who ever you may be. Maybe your name is Steve or Daniel? I personally do not care. Honest.

Firstly i am not going to write about any game in this blog, so if you got to this point hoping to hear about a game you will be sadly disappointed. Sorry. Not really.

Oh your still there. Okay well, hmmm.

Blog, who the hell came up with that word? I hate it, it makes many people sound so anti-social. "Anybody who blogs is just an anti-social retard." That's all i have ever heard about blogging but yet so many people do it! What if blogging was called like:

"Your super awesome if you do this thingy"

I am preetty sure more people would take it seriously i promise. So from now on this is what i shall refer to it as. So for anybody who ever reads this try to refer to blogging as "I am super awesome cause i do this thingy" okay? Lets see if it catches on.

Technorati a "I am Super awesome cause i do this thingy" search engine released a statement claiming that it was tracking 112 million blogs from over 100 million individuals! This means that if everyone in Britain were to blog, every single one, that still would not be enough twaddle to match whats out there by half.

There must be some really valuable information out there... Or some really useless information about people describing what they eat for breakfast and what time they are having dinner with grandma tonight. And when they then arrive at sweet old grandmas one bedroom bedsit. They immediately pull out their robust laptops and start typing away about how the journey here was and how typing sounds severely similar to that of the ticking of grannies pacemaker.

Do you reckon people confess murders and other criminal profanities? I reckon somebody must have and nobody believed him/her and just laughed at the deranged psychopath.Oh well. Wow this "Super awesome thingy" could be fun.

Not yet thought, not until the day i have found a "super awesome thingy" with somebody confessing a murder or i have a million readers. Either ones good.

I did think of creating a Vlog or " Look i am even more awesome cause am in a video thing" but that's been done especially for games reviews. People are sick of watching video reviews that show most of the game and spoil everything. Also usually the video they play is so blurry and makes the game look crap. So different approach here *thumbs up*

So here to is the end of my very first yet slightly longer than intended " Super awesome thingy" in my next "Super awesome thingy" damm I am already sick of that. I have come to hate my own creation.

Yeah so in my next installment i will be starting my video game writing, scrutinising, praising and down right abusing "Super awesome thingy."

Oh i also promise no red and bold next time.
